Les nouvelles pratiques sociales sur la mort et le deuil, sépulture et crémation

Abstract : The rites for the dead express the relationship the living people have with their dear dead relatives and the evolution of the various representations of death. Cremation, because it has become commonplace, and new ways of treating corpses, have changed the contemporary religious practice and the ministry of mourning teams. The diversification of the rituals linked to the burial of the dead not only affects the Catholic Church but also the other religions, and this anthropological mutation is bringing into question the administrative funeral regulation.
