A PINTURA RUPESTRE E SUA TRAJETÓRIA ACADÊMICA

This article discusses the relationship between the pictorial manifestations present in the rock art and the production process, systematization, organization and transmission of knowledge by the Academies. Analyzing the trajectory of academic discussions revolving around the rock painting, we can observe the structure regarding the theme and its influences in the production of this knowledge in Brazil and its reverberations in the scientific studies of pre-colonial painting in Northeast Brazil.

Este artigo aborda as relações existentes entre as manifestações pictóricas presentes na arte rupestre e o processo de produção, sistematização, organização e veiculação desse conhecimento pelas Academias. Analisando a trajetória acadêmica das discussões que gravitam em torno da pintura rupestre, será possível perceber a estruturação científica acerca do tema e suas influências na produção desse conhecimento no Brasil, bem como suas reverberações no estudo científico da Pintura Pré-colonial no Nordeste Brasileiro.
