Monitoring du charriage avec une trappe à fente, observatoire de Draix

Abstract : The deployment of a slot sampler in the Moulin ravine at Draix in September 2011 allowed quantifying 10 s unit bedload fluxes and capturing bedload transport fluctuations at the scale of the flow event. Unit bedload fluxes of the Moulin are very close to the highest hitherto reported values in the literature, underlining the exceptional bedload transport conditions of the prealpine black marls domain. Results confirm that the device offers an efficient separation of bedload and suspended load during flows with suspended sediment concentrations reaching several hundreds of g/.
