In Memoriam Philippe Malrieu (1912-2005)

Abstract : Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University Toulouse2 Mirail, Philippe Malrieu died 27 February 2005 at the age of 93ans. His work is a reference for many researchers in psychology and education. It is dedicated to developmental psychology, social inextricably which aims to illuminate acts of socialization of the person throughout life. Throughout his life, Philippe Malrieu had a passion for the construction of meaning in humans in the history of their societies and cultures. He was convinced that non-dogmatic scientific psychology open to other human sciences, had a say not only in the direction of this story, but also in the struggles always lead to affirm the values ​​of justice, brotherhood of freedom, which as a citizen, he tirelessly devoted his personal and collective commitments
