This article discusses the relationship between the pictorial manifestations present in the rock art and the production process. Analysing the creative process in a prehistoric context, it is possible to understand the genesis of pictorial creation processes initiated by the first producers of visual culture, thus contributing to the understanding and structure of genetic criticism.

Este artigo aborda as relacões existentes entre as manifestações pictóricas rupestres e o processo de construção da obra de arte. Analisando o processo criativo em um contexto pré-histórico, será possível entender a gênese dos processos de criação pictórica, iniciada pelos primeiros produtores dessa cultura visual, contribuindo assim para o entendimento e a sistemática da crítica genética.
